Mariah

Anyone who knows us, knows we love photographing high school seniors and the Class of 2011 was no exception !  We'll be updating our "senior" gallery page every couple of weeks with images of all the seniors we had the pleasure of knowing throughout the past year.  Hope you enjoy as we give them one last curtain call before graduation . . .

Faces of the Class of 2011

Chris Hay Photography is loving the Class of 2011. . . and we've been seeing students from all over !  What a fun job we have !!!  Here's just a sampling.  We'll keep posting more as soon as we get caught up ; - )

Cool New Wedding Venue

Chris Hay Photography has just seen a wonderful new wedding venue called Oak Lodge in Stahlstown right off PA Route 711.  Paula and I had the pleasure of photographing Erin and Brian's wedding back on the 17th of July at this relatively undiscovered spot.  You can see by the images below that it has a lot going for it !  Thanks Erin and Brian for letting us run you all over the mountain for these shots . . .

From what I understand, this chapel was built on site within the past couple of years.  It looks like it's been there since the early settlers !  Beautiful AND it's airconditioned !!!  Erin and Brian had their reception outdoors behind the chapel.  You can see a little of the tent set up directly behind.

Here's a shot from the balcony during the ceremony.  Great vantage point for photographers !

The happy couple in a quieter moment.

And how about this spot for a little toast before going back to your guests ?!

New Arrival at Chris Hay Photography

It's a kitty !  Here she is on her first day home at the studio.  Thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Humane Society of Somerset, by the way.  We thought Kobi, our black lab, needed a sister, but we're finding out that we maybe should have checked with Kobi first !  The adjustment period is actually going quite well and we anticipate the two of them will be playing ball together soon ; - )

Still trying to decide on a name, though.
